Writing essay
I wrote this essay for my theology class it is about relativism. "The history of Relativism is that it dates back to Protoagoras he was a teacher of philosophy, literature and grammar. He could argue any side and make weak arguments sound strong. “The measure of ‘truth’ is the viewpoint of the man himself.” Plato was a philosopher also he argued with Protoagoras saying that if his statement that man is the measure of all things then that means Protoagoras truth is relative and makes it an opinion and if he thinks his teaching is true then it actually makes it false because one truth isn't relative.
Three examples in our society today are, politicians, religion, and racism. In politics there are many examples of relativism, the viewpoint on democrats and republicans is that if a person is very republican they will refuse to vote for anything democratic because they believe it's false, while the person who is very democratic will not vote for anything republican because they believe it is wrong.
The example of religion is like the muslims and christians, muslims believe that christians are wrong and that their truth is the one and only, however christians believe that their truth is the one and only, but is their one truth when it comes to belief?
As of racism many people believe that their race is the one and only “supreme” race and believe that others should not have equal rights, however others believe that all people deserve equal rights. Racism really had no beginning however it got really bad during the beginning of the 1600s and it was that people didn’t believe in the rights for other
Relativism does not work because of the statement “all truth is relative.” the statement must be an absolute truth and that would make the statement false. “There are no absolute truths” makes that sentence an absolute truth and well there are no absolute truths. You may not use logic to refute relativism, if relativism refutes logic then relativism loses its relative status.
Relativism separates us from one another means that instead of working with each other we exclude all truths and are in our own belief “world”. Relativism also undermines the right to life meaning that doctors can choose whether we live or die, also abortion and euthanasia undermine our right to life. It also also destroys our faith, due to people picking what they believe in and choose when they go to church. We ask for help through people and not God.
Today's society everyone talks of tolerance but they refuse to tolerate others. Toleration implies that everyone is more accepting of differences. Love is having feelings or affection towards another being. Hate is the opposite of love, meaning you dislike. You are always called to love, you should never be called to hate."

Electrical engineering has always been something I was fascinated in, the wiring and engineering sounds like something I’d love to do. Electrical engineering requires math and physics as classes to prepare me for this career. In college, I will need to take physics, chemistry, computer science, math, industrial engineering to get qualified to have the job. The classes in high school will prepare me for college because I am currently in chemistry which is preparing me for the chemistry in college. I have previously taken physics and math that will also prepare me for college courses. College will most likely be very challenging and the classes that I have now will give the knowledge I need to help me succeed.
Electric engineering takes a lot of hands on learning. Hands on learning is one of my best ways of learning it gives me a better idea of how things work and I like to see how people do things. There are a few subsections of electrical engineering, there is Electronics, electromagnetism and electricity. I would most likely be going into electronics because I love to take apart electronics and put them back together. Most schooling focus on all sub categories of electrical engineering and the student must focus on one or more of them and be determined to go into one field. You must go to college and get a masters degree. You also must also have 3 years of work experience. There are many jobs to be had as an electrical engineer, all power distribution and particle accelerators. Similar fields would be Aerospace engineer, biomedical engineer, electrician, and mechanical engineer.
Jobs I would do in my job would be evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs. Would need to learn CAD, CAD is Computer Aided Design. I used CAD in my metal shop class we used it to design a project and used a CAM which is a Computer Aided Machine to create the project.

Personal experience
I volunteer with the church. I also volunteer with the schools. I have no work experience in the field I wanna study however I have little work experience in roofing and construction.
I've been a leader in boy scouts. I also have been a club leader at lakeview high school.
Goals
My goal for the internship class is to learn more about electrical engineering. My target placement is to intern in at rmtc.
Resume
I have skills of learning quickly, making tough calls, and determination.
